It is centrally located on Tamborine Mountain, and was established in 1997. It is a traditional English Bed and Breakfast located within 3 to 5 minutes drive to most attractions.

“Sandiacre House” is named after Margaret’s home village “Sandiacre”, located between Nottingham and Derby in England. Built in the Colonial style complete with authentic Victorian decor and olde world furnishings.

All tariffs include a full cooked delicious breakfast. Margaret is a cook and delights in providing delicious home cooking to make your stay at Sandiacre the perfect getaway. Your full country-style breakfast is served with homemade preserves and honey from our bees.

Afternoon tea, with delicious scones or muffins, is served on the verandah, in the gazebo or lounge room. Evening meals by appointment when booking; medical diets can be catered for.

The “Honeymoon Suite” includes:

- Reverse cycle air condtioning (cooling + heating)
- Romantic suite with timber cathedral ceilings
- Luxury queen bed + additional twin beds if required.

“The Heritage” operates daily as a cellar door, restaurant and wedding/function center. The restaurant and reception center was formerly the Infant Saviour Catholic Church, in Burleigh Heads. Owners Bryce and Paddy Kassulke have lovingly restored the former church to create a destination of unsurpassed old world elegance.
