At “Adogma’s Cottage” cats and dogs are always welcome, making this the perfect destination for the whole family.

There is a fully fenced gated back yard with a lovely garden and grassy area for your dog to play. The undercover BBQ area features night lighting and an easy to use BBQ. Ladies – you will have no problems firing up THIS barbie!

“Adogma’s Cottage” is a beautifully restored 1930’s Queenslander with polished hard wood floors, perfect for you and your pet relaxing indoors – pets are most welcome inside! There are strong pet proof security doors back and front, and window screens of the same calibre. No need to worry about your pets breaking out!

The inside of this charming cottage boasts high ornate ceilings, a generously sized main bedroom with bay window, a spacious second bedroom and central bathroom with a spa. There is also a third bedroom which is a study-come-sleep-out containing a king single fold out bed. The main bedroom has a TV and DVD so parents have their own retreat.

The study and the front vestibule are designed for relaxing and reading, allowing vacationers to have their own personal space when the cottage is occupied by the whole family. The separate lounge room and dining room are spacious and comfortable. The compact kitchen and laundry has all the modern conveniences. A generous double car port is provided, offering shelter from the elements.

Directly opposite “Adogma’s Cottage” is the fully fenced leash free dog park “Staffsmith Park” that even has night lighting. This is the perfect place to meet the locals and get a feel of the life on “Tamborine Mountain”.

Perched on a hillside of magical Tamborine Mountain is “Heritage Estate Wines”, a majestic setting which enjoys sweeping views over the hinterland and out to the Pacific Ocean.

“The Heritage” operates daily as a cellar door, restaurant and wedding/function center. The restaurant and reception center was formerly the Infant Saviour Catholic Church, in Burleigh Heads. Owners Bryce and Paddy Kassulke have lovingly restored the former church to create a destination of unsurpassed old world elegance. With views over the hinterland to the Gold Coast as well as covered verandas plus a terrace, it is an ideal place for summer lunches. In winter, the magnificent stone fireplace provides a warm cosy atmosphere for dining.

With such a unique and historic building added with the newly completed Glass House Pavilion it’s no wonder that “The Heritage” is fast becoming a top choice for wedding ceremonies and receptions. “Albert River Wines” is an Award Winning Boutique Winery & Function Centre, located in the picturesque Albert Valley, on the banks of the Albert River in the Gold Coast Hinterland, set high on the hill, with panoramic views to Tamborine Mountain and the surrounding Hinterland. Amongst this setting, you will find the historic colonial homestead “Tamborine House” and the fully restored, beautiful iconic Queenslander “Auchenflower House”. The “Albert River Wines Restaurant” is located on the sweeping Auchenflower House verandah, a famous Brisbane landmark and iconic Queenslander, that was home to three former Queensland Premiers – Sir Thomas McIllwraith, Sir Arthur Palmer and Thomas Ryan. This magnificent historical home has been elegantly restored to capture the former grandeur of the colonial period.

The restaurant is overlooking the lush vines and the panoramic views of Tamborine Mountain and the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Cellar Door Sales and Tasting Rooms are located in the former Auchenflower House Billiard Room, connected to the winery by massive solid Oregon doors.

French chef, Isabelle Thorpe was born in Lorraine to an Alsatian father and a mother from Normandy. She spent her childhood and teenage years in Nancy, the capital of Lorraine, before moving to Paris. The family’s holiday home was in Ardèche, north of Provence and her cuisine is influenced by these regions, rich in culinary traditions.

Isabelle delivers a little piece of France with every meal enabling you to experience a wide variety of exotic and beautiful French tastes. La Ferme Provençale is proud to also offer a unique vegan, non-grain, non-dairy and no sugar menu. This menu has been designed for special dietary needs and is ideal for celiacs, vegetarians, vegans, and also for people who have allergies, are lactose intolerant or are undergoing treatment for various conditions affecting their immune system.

Our leafy greens are supplied by Growing Healthy Organics which is a community organic farm right here on Tamborine Mountain. Our own organic gardens have started producing silverbeet, cabbage, lettuce and herbs as well as avocados and citrus which we are also using for our cooking.

For cosy evenings you can enjoy the warmth of the slow combustion log fire and by day fire up the BBQ in the entertainment pergola which overlooks a magical rainforest setting or simply relax and do nothing at all in the peaceful environment of birds and nature.

The main Queen Bedroom, complete with a walk-through wardrobe and a double vanity en-suite, even provides the most sophisticated guest with the convenience of a bidet. The additional two Double Bedrooms are just what you would expect from a quaint cottage with solid wooden framed double beds.

Relaxing in the many deep sofas in the lounge room is a must with a good book, of which many are provided in the library for your use, or perhaps unwind with a Movie from a selection of DVDs provided for your entertainment on the big screen TV.
