“The Heritage” operates daily as a cellar door, restaurant and wedding/function center. The restaurant and reception center was formerly the Infant Saviour Catholic Church, in Burleigh Heads. Owners Bryce and Paddy Kassulke have lovingly restored the former church to create a destination of unsurpassed old world elegance.

With such a unique and historic building added with the newly completed Glass House Pavilion it’s no wonder that “The Heritage” is fast becoming a top choice for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The personalized service and wedding planning goes beyond expectation, and guests and family love the stunning setting.

The interior is home to a lovely antique French counter overlooking large European wooden tables and straw chairs.  The romantic Versailles corner features a magnificent XVIII century ornate gold mirror and stunning chandelier.

The exterior is a true Mediterranean covered terrace with traditional Provençale stone walls, antique coach lamps and rendered walls overlooking gardens of lush olive trees, orchard, lavender beds, roses and rosemary.

We have plenty of unique and romantic spaces with wonderful natural light for your photographs, both indoors and outdoors in the orchard or gardens.  There is ample parking in the secure parking lot and large, clean powder rooms.

Discover Tamborine Mountain – Discover Culinary delights with the “DTM Eating Out Guide” to be published very soon!

This new guide has something for everyone – from Take-Aways and Cafes to Family Restaurants and 5-star Fine Dining – and everything in between – the DTM “Eating Out Guide” will solve the question asked so often – “Where is a good place to eat?” or “Where do you get a great cuppa on the mountain?”

The utmost care was taken when collecting lots of information for each eatery. DTM has compiled a comprehensive list of not only where it each outlet is located, what type of food is served and the opening times – the guide will go into much more detail showing also information such as BYO / Licensed, seating capacity, if you will find air conditioning or not, or a fire place, whether there is secure off-street parking (and how many spaces!), or children’s menu, disabled access and so on.

The “Eating Out Guide” will provide all worthwhile-to-know information of each featured eatery – it is the “Whose Who” of good food outlets on Tamborine Mountain!

We anticipate to have this guide on-line on this page (as well as in print, of course!) by latest end May 2014.
