The Bluegum Ballroom – Your perfect country wedding venue!

Relax and enjoy the Australian country atmosphere of “The Bearded Dragon”.  Built in classic Queenslander style and set on 110 acres at the base of Mt Tamborine, you and your guests will be in the heart of the region to celebrate your wedding ceremony and reception.

We offer a relaxed and flexible wedding venue as we only cater to one couple per day.

Our wedding packages are designed to make your wedding ceremony and reception planning an enjoyable part of your celebrations.

We have a number of different reception options to choose from.  Our elegant Ballroom with full reverse cycle air-conditioning, beautifully polished floorboards, high ceilings and large front veranda is the perfect venue for your wedding reception.  For more intimate receptions you have the option of using our Old World Dining Room.

The Bridal Suite at “The Bearded Dragon”

For your reception meal, you can choose from different styles of food served to your guests on the night – like sumptuous buffets, elegant plated set menus or gourmet hors-d’ouevres.

We are pleased to include in your “Bearded Dragon” wedding package country style wedding theming for your reception.  This will include white linen for your tables, white chair covers complete with sash or raffia bow.  Each of your tables will be complete with elegant place settings and linen look napkins.  We will also cloth and skirt your bridal table and ensure that there is a matching cake and present table.

We do not compromise on quality and service, as our reputation is impeccable with over 10 years experience in weddings under the same management and ownership structure.
