The “Tour de Tamborine” is always an incredible event mixing competition, fun, and the real ability to make a difference. And what better place to do it than the picturesque surroundings of Tamborine Mountain and the Gold Coast Hinterland! The Tour de Tamborine is recognised as one of South East Queensland’s premier charity sporting events.
The day comprises several cycling, running or walking events for all ages and abilities, backed up with fun family activities and entertainment, all with the purpose of raising much needed funds for local charities in the area.
The 2012 event was a tremendous success with over 1000 entries taking part in either the walk, run or cycle. An incredible $40,000 was raised, with various Tamborine Mountain charities being the beneficiaries.
So come and join the fun in 2013 and have a great day out, feel healthier, and make a difference!
